The Varsity Alpine Club Lodge, Callemonda Lodge, is located lake side in Jindabyne township at 5 Banjo Paterson Crescent.
The sections below detail the accommodation and facilities available at the Lodge.
Rooms
There are 7 bunk rooms catering for a maximum of 28 people. Each bunk room contains mattresses and protectors, blankets, pillows, reading lights, hanging space, and air-conditioning.
Bunk #4 has 2 beds, Bunk #5 has 6 beds, and all the other bunk rooms have 4 beds.
Note: For health reasons all guests are required to bring and use their own single bed sheets (or sleeping bags) and pillow cases.
Kitchen
Each bunk room has an assigned pantry cupboard and fridge/freezer (110/85 litre capacity) located in the kitchen.
The kitchen contains 2 electric cooktops, 2 convection/microwave ovens, toasters, kettles, and a commercial dishwasher for shared use.
A range of crockery, cutlery, frypans, utensils, bowls, saucepans, glasses and mugs are also available for guests to use during their stay.
Note: The dishwasher is for sterilisation, so please rinse your plates and cutlery before placing them in the appliance.
Bathrooms
There are men’s and women’s bathroom facilities located upstairs with multiple showers, toilets, and basins. There is also a bath in the women’s bathroom.
Downstairs there are 2 self-contained bathrooms, each with a shower, toilet, and basin.
Laundry
The laundry and a heated drying room for clothes are located downstairs. The laundry contains a washing machine, dryer, and a tub. Outside the laundry is a clothes line (pegs are supplied). In the downstairs hallway there are ski racks and forced air boot dryers.
Living Areas
An open-plan living space with 2 large dining tables and several comfy lounges is located upstairs leading out to a spacious deck, while downstairs contains a games room with table tennis. Both of these areas are air-conditioned.
Note: There are no telephones or televisions in the Lodge. Additionally, the use of portable media devices is actively discouraged in the upstairs shared facilities. People who need to use these devices may do so in the games room.
Wifi
Wifi is available throughout the Lodge. The instructions to access the wifi is located on the noticeboard in the upstairs living space.
Parking
There are 8 car spaces available on site.
